It is a perfect getaway for those who love outdoor adventure which requires great patience and endurance in trekking giant trails of rock. But surely as most hikes do, a rewarding view is waiting ahead that would certainly leave you speechless.
Tinipak River is located in a charming community in Tanay, Rizal. A body of water that that boasts white marble rocks and pristine water. This once hidden gem is one of the emerging popular tourist spots in Tanay, Rizal. Aside from marveling the picturesque view of the majestic river, you may want to spare yourself from Mount Daraitan’s 5-hour climb. The best thing about this place is that it is only a two-hour drive from Manila.
That seems promising, how do I get there?
If you are getting there via private vehicle, from Marcos Highway, go straight to Cogeo, Antipolo in Siera Madre. It is a one hour drive passing through the Infanta Road until you reach Tanay’s Public Market. Once you have reached the market, just go straight ahead until you see a sign on your left stating “To Daraitan”. Then, Follow the rough road which leads to the parking area. Though the parking may vary depending on the weather during the rainy season, you have to ride a balsa for ten pesos and ride a tricycle to the registration area while during summer, you can bring your car straight to the registration area.
